Surgery on October 9, 2019|After received the laser refractive eye surgery, I feel mice might be more terrible than the operation, finally getting rid of long-term wearing contact lenses for filming and all those discomforts.
What’s your experience and feeling about zero-contact laser refractive eye surgery? Alan Song said:
“Everything’s fixed just like the windshield wipers when I drive in a rainy day.”
“It didn’t hurt, I feel mice might be more terrible after that.”
Sharing experience of the fifth day after laser refractive eye surgery
surroundings become much bright (much higher light sensitivity), turning to very clear too!
Let’s talk about conditions during the first couple of days of recovery. The most significant sensation on the same day of the operation was photophobia, no other discomforts. The most mentionable feeling was that when I went to bed the following night, relatively significant discomfort started to occur, voluntarily tearing. The feeling was hard to describe. It’s a slightly itchy feeling in the eyes rather than foreign body sensation. I guess it’s because of the scarring wound, and so many nerves in the eyes, which may lead to such sensitivity.
Such condition and blurred vision had already been much better in the afternoon of the third day, which I thought I've overcome the key recovery period of the wound. Obstruction in the eyes gradually disappeared, without any discomfort when blinking too, except some dryness that required frequently supplementing artificial tears. Only the first few days had mild sensations, and the following days were getting better and better. Right now, it’s basically an amazing field of vision and wonder if I am actually not wearing contact lenses because everything seems so clear. I'm much expecting how I feel when my vision returns to 1.0.
